News Our disability news section will provide any disability related news, events or announcements about people, government, equipment, culture, and etc.

All news, events or announcements will have something to say about living with a disability and create awareness and positive attitudes toward disabilities in our society. We would like to have news, events or announcements that deal with the rights of people with disabilities, eliminating inequality and discrimination, and issues of self-help and consumer advocacy.

We invite people from all over United States to participate in our news section. If you see any current news, events or announcements with a valid present on the web that is relevant to disability, we would love to hear from you. In August 2010, the percentage of people with disabilities in the labor force was 22.0. By comparison, the percentage of persons with no disability in the labor force was 70.2. The unemployment rate for those with disabilities was 15.6 percent, compared with 9.3 percent for persons with no disability, not seasonally adjusted.
