Able People Foundation announces the launch of “E-Learning-Simple” Platform
Able People Foundation is excited to announce the launch of its new E-Learning-Simple
Platform. Cost-Effective- Online Workshops are created, developed and delivered for you in an
easy access online format. Our technology department has taken all the worry out of it for you so
all you have to do is be ready to present your workshop one time, with our camera team, and
you’re ready to go. We do everything else for you without the expense of a technology team.
E-Learning-Simple Platform implementation could be a very smart outreach solution at the time
that non-profits are losing their funding, and 59% of them are estimated to have cash flow
problems. Santa Clara County non-profits alone have lost over $13Million in government
funding. In response to the growing financial needs of our non-profit partners and the community
organizations we work closely with, Able People Foundation has created an easy access, costeffective
avenue that reaches the community that you serve.
The E-Learning-Simple Platform is also being offered at a time when the need for services has never been greater among the population we serve. People with disabilities – especially those with severe disabilities and mobility limitation -- have difficulty accessing education, on-ground services, and workshops you offer. Mobility is restricted, transportation is difficult, and even the personal assistant’s hours are limited. The E-Learning-Simple Platform will provide moderate savings to participating partners and collaborators. At the same time, we will assist organizations in reaching out to learners with disabilities, seniors, severely disabled, and returning veterans. The ease of access and delivery of pertinent education using E-Learning-Simple positively effects everyone’s lives and affords organizations effected by the lack of funding the means to continue their much needed services and support.
E-Learning-Simple could save thousands of dollars in travel and costly site location expenses for
all our non-profit partners and agencies that serve people with disabilities and the aging
community.
We are offering complete support in the creation, development, and delivery of all your Educational Workshops:

About Able People Foundation: Able People Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that serves those with disabilities, their families, and health care and other business professionals that improve and sustain our rapidly growing community. Founded in 2002, Able People Foundation is a peer-supported, all-volunteer staff driven by our passion and belief that disability is NOT an END but could be a new beginning. We strongly encourage other individuals in their desire to remain independent and resilient in all facets of their lives.
We are successfully meeting these needs by providing education and support for individuals and
health care and other professionals so that they may positively affect everyday lives by
continually providing ongoing education about new disability products, laws, social security
benefits, financial solutions, health benefits, etc.
In addition our highly accessible, online website platform, we provide easy access to finding
equipment resources, with an extensive, easy to use search engine for locating equipment and
products.
Able People Foundation has been giving used and basic mobility products free to local community residents since 2002. Our community and manufacturers have been donating their unused, over stocked, discontinued but in good working condition mobility products to Able People Foundation for tax deductions. We identify and give the products to people with no insurance or sufficient funding that desperately need them through our application process in collaboration with other nonprofit agencies, hospitals, and etc. Further, we have signed contracts with different manufacturers to purchase products at discounted dealer prices when our approved Giving Program low-income applicants in need of basic mobility products can only pay a little but not the retail prices, or if there is no available donated inventory.
Our distance learning program is an innovative and new collaborative effort with other local and
national organizations that provide educational and product use demonstration services via our
cost effective platform. This information provides significant inroads in eliminating barriers to
self advocacy and learning without anyone ever leaving their house or office. Therefore, it will
make it easier for people with more severe disabilities to attend classes without worrying about
transportation, building accessibility, or long distance physical location, accommodation, etc.
